of the past. Edmund and Natalia are the most
friendly, professionl and inviting
people." Monique Chakko
" I had a constant neck, shoulder and
arm pain. The acupuncture visits were very
effective in reducing my pain and discomfort very
quickly. Prior orthopedic treatments had been
ineffective." Bill Rothenberg
" The treatment was miraculous from
day one. Mr. Erickson was fabulous and a good
listener. He spent a lot of time describing what
was to happen and what to do. I can not thank the
Wellness Center enough!" Mark Kern
" I had a very positive experience on
many parts: physical pain, relaxation, allergy
relief. Staff is sincere, caring, courteous and
warm." Judy Mottl
Absolutely. The disposable needles are packaged in sterilized holders and used only once. There are no side effects to acupuncture.
Is acupuncture painful?
That is a matter of personal opinion. Each person's pain threshold is different. The Japanese acupuncture used at Classical Acupuncture Clinic is one of the least painful forms of acupuncture. The needles are very thin and most often inserted only 1 to 3 millimeters deep. Should your tolerance to pain be low or the idea of acupuncture needles make you nervous, there are alternatives (please see below).
Where on the body do you insert needles?
Most of the points used are on the extremities (hands, feet, arms, legs), the abdomen (between the ribs and the navel), and the upper and lower back.
Do you use disposable needles?
Yes, all the needles used at our Wellness Center are disposable, sterile, and used only once. All are of superior quality and purchased from U.S. companies.
How many treatments are needed to get well?
That depends on the state of your health when you come to see us and what you need treated. Generally speaking, patients with acute conditions recover faster than those with chronic conditions.
