I have been interested in acupuncture for a long time, but never tried it until
I pulled a muscle in my back. A friend referred me to Edmund, and after a
series of three treatments, I was back to normal. I was so excited with
the results of the acupuncture, that I went home and made a list of all the
other aches and pains I wanted to relieve. After a series of treatments,
I have seen significant improvement with many of my issues. Now I see
Edmund once a month just to maintain my good health. Not only have the
acupuncture treatments improved my health, but I have learned a lot from Edmund
about acupuncture and nutrition. He is passionate about what he does and
it shows. He is kind and easy to talk to and I refer him at every opportunity.

I first went to Dr Erickson for shoulder and neck
pain. During my treatments I also was in need of relief from back pain. From my
first visit Dr Erickson was able to relieve tension from my neck and shoulders
as well as my back. It was amazing how much better I felt after treatment - not
only was the pain going away but I had tons of energy also. My friends would
notice the difference and ask if I'd been to the acupuncturist because I had so

I first began treating with Edmund Erickson of
Classical Acupuncture Clinic in an effort to regulate by cycles in my quest to
become pregnant. I suffer from PCOS (Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome) and had
several friends suggest acupuncture as a way to get me ovulating. During the
course of my treatment with Mr. Erickson I developed a very large cyst on my
ovary as a result of the fertility drugs I was taking. My doctor was ready to
schedule me for surgery and prescribed me birth control pills in an attempt to
reduce the size of the cyst. Since I was trying to conceive, I refused to take
the birth control pills as it was too upsetting. With only a week before my
doctor was read to cute me open, Mr. Erickson saw me two times as and performed
what I still think of as magic. More specifically, what was a 9 cm cyst had
been reduced to under 2 cm. In light of the fact that I did not taken any of
the birth control pills prescribed by my doctor there is no doubt it was the
acupuncture that got rid of the cyst. Most importantly, my treatment at
Classical Acupuncture Clinic has been a very calming and relaxing experience
that I have benefited from in so many ways.

After a very painful experience with acupuncture
many years ago, I avoided such treatment for at least 10 years. When I
re-injured my back severely about a year ago, my doctor treated it as
always--prescribing painkillers and suggesting heating pads and the like. Then

Hello everybody,
Just want to share with you about a blessing that I discovered.
I never was a believer of Acupuncture, well for one, it is scary to get poked
with needles all over you body (it does not hurt at all); two, it just never
crossed by mind (I guess it is not part of our culture). But I want to share
this with you just in case you are feeling brave and tired of you pains and
aches in your body. I have a new co-worker whose husband is an acupuncturist? I
told her about my hand that has been hurting for almost 2 years now, of course
she recommended acupuncture. I tried just for fun.It turned out that my
body and system responded positively to the treatment. The very first day.I
could feel my hand as part of my body again (my fingers have been numb for
months), my body feels lighter, headaches are gone and one of the most
interesting part is that (men please excuse me) my period is a bliss. I used to
have very heavy, clotting, painful with diarrhea days but now (after 2nd
treatment) I did not feel any of it. Also, my sleep is better now. I used to
toss and turn (maybe due to the pain) but now I always have a good night sleep,
my body is lighter.. There are a lot of benefits which I really do not know all
of them.
I think I even sing higher notes than before! (Kidding..he he he).
This is a great blessing to me and I want to share it with all of you in case
you need a different way of dealing with physical issues.

I went to Edmund Erickson for acupuncture
treatments. I find him to be a very kind person and a fine acupuncturist. After
treatment I found that I had significant improvement in my incontinence. I
would recommend him to anyone who is seeking acupuncture to this kind, gentle

My father, Edward R, age 88, at the time of his treatments had been having
excruciating pain in his back, and it had gotten to the point where something
had to be done. He was not a candidate for surgery because of his age and
blood-thinning medications; and he couldn't tolerate serious pain
medications. Tylenol certainly was not effective, and physical therapy
had a very limited effect. I was aware of the existence of your Classical
Acupuncture Clinic only because we passed the door so many times on our way to
the lab upstairs. I called for an appointment and luckily received one
quickly. When I picked up my dad to take him to see you, he was in such
pain that he was bent over, could barely walk, and couldn't even sit in the
waiting room. You noticed his discomfort and "rescued" him just as I was
about to help him lie down on the floor. The treatment consisted of
Japanese acupuncture and moxibustion--a gentler technique which you selected
because my dad was so frail. It was fascinating to watch, and I
appreciated that you explained in detail everything you were doing. When
you learned that he had emphysema, you directed the treatment to his lungs as
well. At the end of that treatment, the change in my dad was startling.
He was relaxed and was able to stand straight and tall, and walked with a
steadier gait. Most of his pain was gone and he seemed to have some
energy, and he felt better than he had for a long, long time. He
and I were utterly amazed! Relief lasted for almost a week, and several
subsequent treatments kept the effect going. It wasn't long before
he felt he didn't need any more treatments. So we haven't seen you for
awhile! Thank you for what you did for my dad and his quality of
life. And thank you for making it affordable, since his insurance didn't

I was so thrilled to be referred to Dr Edmund. At first when I heard he was not
Asian, I strongly opposed as I have had acupuncture in Japan and in the U.S. by
only Asians. But my doctor strongly recommended him and said he was one of the
best. I'm grateful that my closed mindedness did not get in the way. Never,
have I seen immediate results like this from any other acupuncturist. I get
annual 2 week painful sinus infections in the spring time. The first day it
came on, I went to Dr E. he placed one painless needle in 1 point. Within 30
minutes my sinus pain left and I did not have another sinus infection in that
season. Initially I saw Dr. E. for a painful frozen shoulder that would not
move. After the 2nd treatment the pain started to subside. Today I have most of
my range of movement back and I am pain free. Dr. E. is professional with an
amazingly calm demeanor. His needles are pain free, very thin, and his accuracy
and training allow him to get to the right point. Almost every time during a
treatment I fall asleep. The treatments are extremely relaxing. I am so
grateful that I found such a skillful acupuncturist.
